You make your way back to Mateo to see if his friends have found him.

You can smell and hear them before you even get close. Rounding a corner, you are greeted with so many spotted cats that you have trouble counting them all. Just how many of them are there?

Mateo quickly spots you and weaves his way through the mass of cats with a wide grin.

"You're here! I can't believe you found them all!" He shoves your shoulder companionably as the other cats turn their attention to you.

Are they all settling in?

Mateo nods furiously.

"Oh yes! In fact, they could use a little more comfort, you see..." He trails off and the eyes of the other cats look expectant. Oh boy...what has Mateo promised them now?

What is it?

"See! I told you [NAME] would help!" he announces to the group, not giving you a chance to say otherwise. Happy yowls travel through the group as Mateo turns back to you.

"The journey was hard enough without having to worry about things like shelter and food. Besides, they don't know this land like you do. We just need a few things. Nothing too crazy!"

Looking at the number of cats, you have a strong suspicion that Mateo's idea of only a few things is quite different than reality.

Tell me what you need.

"Well, considering our numbers I did some quick math and this should be enough for us to stay awhile. Easy peasy, right?"

0/20 large rock given.

0/20 large leaves given.

0/20 underbrush given.

0/100 food uses given.

You have not fulfilled your task yet.

To complete this quest, you have to donate a total of 20 Large Rocks, 20 Large Leaves, 20 Underbrush, and 100 uses of food; it does not have to be 100 individual carcasses.

The items must be in your hoard, not buried, in your branch, in a raffle, or in a trade.

The amount of items you wish to donate must be typed in. If you have 10 full-use Elephant Calf Carcasses stacked in your hoard, this amounts to 50 total uses. You can type in 5 and it will take 5 full-use Elephant Calf Carcasses (25 uses) from your hoard.

Once you have donated a total of 20 Large Rocks, 20 Large Leaves, 20 Underbrush, and 100 uses of food, click the Continue button.

Mateo wastes no time assigning his friends to various jobs to make dens and stash the food. Not too different than what you do with your pride! Jaguars don't live in groups, but perhaps their shared need in a strange world breaks the social norm.

Satisfied, Mateo turns to you looking far too pleased with himself for someone who managed to do none of the work.

"Thank you so much, [NAME]. Because of you, we can rest and recuperate here for a while. Feel free to come see us; we'll be around for a while until our supplies run out. By that time I'm sure we'll be ready to head off and find places of our own that are more suitable."

So, about that reward...

"Oh! Of course!" Mateo's eyes brighten. "I didn't forget. Here you go!"

You have received:

Confused Jaguar
Jaglion Cub
Jaguar Tree
Cargo Ship

See you around, Mateo

Waving his tail in farewell, Mateo turns to join his friends.

"Oh, and by the way..." A sly smile crosses his lips as he glances back at you. "We won't bother your lionesses. Unless you want us to, of course."

He winks and disappears into the mass of spotted cats.

Head back to your pride

This ends Day 4 and the Invasion of Spots quest as a whole.

Success! You have completed the Invasion of Spots questline. You have now had 20 Jaglion breeding boosts applied to your account. For your next 20 breedings, you have a slightly higher chance of producing a Jaglion cub!

Congratulations! You have now received 20 Jaglion breeding boosts, as well as some exclusive backgrounds and decors.

Now that you have completed the Invasion of Spots quest, you can never take it again on the account that has completed it.

You can take the quest on both of the accounts you are permitted to own on Lioden. Completing the quest on one will not prevent you from completing it on the other. Completing the quest will also not stop you from breeding a first generation Jaglion without the use of the boosted breedings.

When you view your den page after completing the Invasion of Spots quest, you will see the following banner.

There is a small chance on your next breeding within your pride that your lioness will go on a date with a jaguar instead... This boost is active for the next 20 breedings!

This banner is also visible when viewing other players' den pages. Whenever you successfully breed with a lioness within your own pride, the number of boosts within that banner will go down. Whenever another player successfully breeds with a lioness within their own pride, the number of boosts within that banner will go down.

Jaglion Breeding Boost Information

  • Upon completing the Invasion of Spots adventure, you receive 20 boosts that will roll once per successful breeding. Each successful breeding will take away 1 boost from that count.
  • You are able to view how many boosts you have remaining through a banner at the top of your den page.
  • All boosts are equal. The first and last boost are the same, and having more or less boosts doesn't make the boost any more or less effective.
  • The boost will only roll on the first cub within a litter, so you do not need to use Buffalo Scrotums or Grains of Paradise.
  • The boost is not affected by breeding items, so using items like Cotton Root Barks, GMO Cows, and Lion Meat will not make the boost any more effective.
  • The boost is equivalent in chances to the Tigon Hype breeding boost, which was a 1 in 150 chance to be successful.
  • The boost only applies to lionesses that you breed within your own pride. It cannot be used on lionesses who have sent you stud requests, stud requests you have sent out for your lionesses, or the reverse breeding feature.
  • The boost is a flat percentage boost that has better chances than a 1% fertility lioness to produce a first generation Jaglion cub. With the boost active, fertility is irrelevant, except for Infertile as Infertile lionesses cannot breed without the use of fertility-adjusting items.
  • First generation Jaglions can be bred without taking the Invasion of Spots adventure. The adventure only gave out boosted chances to breed them once the adventure was successfully completed.
  • Boosts are tied to your account, not your king, so you can retire with your boosts intact. They also do not expire. They are only removed by successful breedings to lionesses that you own within your pride.
  • The boost does not guarantee that a first generation Jaglion cub will be born. It just increases the chances of one being produced.
