Combo eyes are eye colours that can appear when breeding two parents with specific eye colours to each other. These parent eye colours are called "factors", and breeding two "factors" on different sides together can result in a "combination" eye colour. It should be clarified that breeding factor eye colours together will not always result in a combo-eyed cub; combo eyes are rare and have a low chance to spawn when breeding factors together.
As an example, one combo eye colour on Lioden is Cosmic. Cosmic can be produced by breeding one of its "Factor A" eye colours (Galaxy and Jasper) to one of its "Factor B" eye colours (Dawn, Draconid, Starshine, Stellar, and Sunglow). In simpler terms, a Galaxy-eyed lion bred to a Starshine-eyed lion can result in a Cosmic-eyed cub. Similarly, a Jasper-eyed lion bred to a Dawn-eyed lion can result in a Cosmic-eyed cub. You cannot get Cosmic eyes from breeding Galaxy and Jasper together, as these factor eye colours are on the same side.
Unlike combo bases, combo eyes do not need to be bred to themselves or their factors in order to pass down during breeding. With combo bases, if you have an Elysian-based lion, the only way Elysian will pass is if that lion is bred to another Elysian-based lion, or an Ice, Divine, or Ebony-based lion. With combo eyes, you can breed a combo-eyed lion to another lion with any other eye colour, and you can still end up with cubs that have the parent's combo eye colour. Sectoral eyes can be considered another form of combo eyes. These are eye colours that have one set of eye colours that can produce them when bred together.
