This is the place where you can edit your den settings including your visible page for others to see, personal information, and toggling certain settings on and off to make your gaming experience just the way you like it!

This is what your den looks like if it is blank and you don't have any text, pictures, or custom CSS added to your den. NOTE: Locust notifications are only active during September. If you want to change this, just scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will come to an area that looks like this:

Here you can put in what you would like to show on your den, edit your player name, change your profile image ("tag"), change the email associated with your account (NOTE: Changing your email WILL cause your account to be deactivated. For assistance in reactivating it, make a modbox ticket so the mods can help you out!), choose which territory tile you would like displayed on the territory map, your layout theme ("day" or "night", however if you have custom CSS this will not affect your layout), and finally you can see the second account that is linked, if any. NOTE: If no account is linked and you would like to link your account, it will have a link that says "Link an account?" which will take you to the page where you can link your other account.

You can also see what's called your "Account Standing" which indicates if there has been any action taken against your account when rules have been broken. For example, this could decrease if you spam chat and staff takes action against your account for this rulebreak. An account is permanently suspended if it reaches 0% standing. But never fear! Actions taken against your account "expire" after 3 months and they no longer affect your standing. So if you break a rule and end up at 90% standing, it will go back up to 100% standing after 3 months.

The next fields are pretty straight forward; to edit simply type what you would like in each field and hit "save." If for example you want to edit your territory:

Once you hit save, it will show up just like you put it in!

Tags can be tricky if you aren't sure what link to put in if you don't want to use the site-provided ones. Luckily it's pretty simple once you know how!

If you would like to have a personal tag, the image must be hosted off-site, and be no larger than 150 x 150 or it will not work. You can use sites such as Imgur to host the picture you want to use. Depending on the site you will have to find the link that is an image file ending in .PNG, .JPG or similar file names. Let's try it out!

This is the image we have now:

Go to the image hosting site of your choosing and find the direct image link:

Then go to your profile and paste the link into the field and hit "save"

Then presto! Your picture has been changed!

You can also use the site-provided tags, made by Shad (#16848)! These are images of decor, NPCs, explore encounters, and other random images around the site. Just scroll down and click the "premade tags" link:

Here you will see all of the tags that the site has to offer, sorted into different categories:

Once you're done browsing, go ahead and hover over a tag and it will highlight it with a yellow border:

Once you click on it, it will automatically update your tag for you!

Changing your player name is similar to how you edit the other fields; simply put what you would like in the field:

Then click "save" and it is immediately changed!

Now if you would like to edit your territory tile and site layout theme, you can do so below by clicking on the dropdown menus and choosing what you would like!

Be sure to hit "save" to save your preferences!

This area is where you can toggle settings on and off depending on what you would like to see or not see. It is all up to you! Toggled to the right and green is active, while toggled to the left and gray is inactive. Make sure you hit "save"!

You can also change your password by scrolling to the very bottom of the page:

Here you will have to type in your current password, the new password you want, and answer your security question correctly before it will allow it to be changed. It will look like this, and just hit "change" and you are golden!

You can link your side and main together for easy switching between your account so you don't have to constantly log in and out if you are busy doing stuff on both!

If you scroll down to the bottom of the "Edit Your Details" you will see an area where you can link an account (and your alternate account will be listed here once linked)

When you click on that link, you will be presented with a screen that looks like this, where you can input your account alternate account details:

You must input your alternate account's username, password, and the password of the account you are currently on. Remember, your username is not the same as your display name. It is the name you use to log in to Lioden along with the password on the login page. Once you have inputted the correct information, hit "Link Accounts"!

Once you have successfully linked the accounts, you will be shown a green success banner:

If you ever happen to navigate back to that page, it will look like this, and you are not able to re-link or un-link an account without staff assistance:

Now, if you go back to your den, you will see your account is listed as being linked in "Edit Your Details"

Now switching will be easy! At the bottom of the page on the right hand side there is now a button that says "Switch Account." You can use this button to easily flip back and forth, and it appears on every page just as the normal side bar does:

Remember, you are ONLY allowed to link to an account that belongs to you. You may not link accounts of any family or friends as it is disallowed by the ToS.

A popular way that people customize their dens is by using a CSS layout, which is a code style sheet that changes the appearance of your den! There are free layouts created and circulated by players, but people also make their own or commission layouts from other people. Let's see how it works!

If you're like me, this is boring and not unique at all—who wants a plain blue layout? That's no fun! So how do we change it? Once you get the link to the stylesheet provided to you, take it and paste it into your territory description:

NOTE: While the code can be anywhere in the territory description box, it is recommended to isolate the code at the top or bottom of your profile as seen here so that you do not accidentally delete or alter the code and mess up your den.

Once you hit "save" your den will be transformed!
