As of September 2018, the Locust Plague event has its own storyline involving the Harbinger. The storyline begins with Novel 1 unlocking on September 3rd at 2:10am Lioden time.
For ease of convenience, the novels have been split up into their own separate pages. Please click on the individual button images to be taken to that novel's page.
Once you have finished the Harbinger's novel, you will then be able to complete daily quests in order to receive extra rewards.
If the quest you have taken is too difficult, you can pay a fee of 50 SB to take a different quest.
Quests do not reset upon rollover. You can take as long as needed to work on a single quest.
"The Harbinger is ready to manifest more Omens for you to train your mind in preparation for the horrors to come. Each day, the Harbinger will offer you a quest to complete a small expedition, with further teachings afterwards."
Once you have helped the Harbinger, it will thank you and inform you to return tomorrow.
Come back tomorrow!

Find 20 Omens (0/20)
Find 20 Omens, then report back to me. We will interpret them together.
In order to complete this quest, you must find 20 total Omens in Explore. Click here to see all Omen encounters you may find.
Win 30 battles (0/30)
Win 30 battles with any enemy. We need to ensure you're strong enough for the Apocalypse.
The easiest way to complete this would be to fight weak enemies within the lower level Explore biomes. If you do not want to risk losing battles, it may be in your best interest to automatically win your battles using Lucky Feet.
These encounters will only show up if you have a daily quest active with the Harbinger. They will show up at random, similar to other event encounters. Upon encountering an omen, +1 Omen is automatically credited to you. When all omens are found for a daily quest, they will stop appearing in Explore.

A black dog appears, quiet and lacking any scent. You aren't even sure if it's a real creature or if it's just an illusion. It wanders in front of you, sniffs at the air, looks at you, then disappears behind the hill in eerie silence. You suddenly get a feeling of impending doom.

You're unsure if this is a real human getting ready to harvest this field of flax, or if it's an omen of death wielding a scythe to reap souls. Does the field symbolise an upcoming massive harvest...? Is something big coming? You dive into the flax, quickly checking for anything useful. If your time has come, then so be it, but if not, you shouldn't fear this creature... unless it's a human, and that scythe could harm you. Better hurry and leave.

The loud shriek of a demonic horse tears through the air. You hear galloping, foreshadowed only by a dark cloud approaching. You quickly hide behind a large rock, chilled down to your spine at the sight of a headless horseman. This may not be a horse of the End of Times, but it seems it could be the last creature some beings ever see, judging by the collection of skulls held at the belt of the rider.
+1 Omen |
Bad air is rising, spreading the plague from rotting corpses. You could swear there was a skull in the vile cloud! You collect some crawling beetles and scurry away fast.

You spot three white rabbits, gently grazing out in the open. You whisper the word "rabbit" three times to yourself for some good luck for the duration of this month. You might just need it.

It looks as though someone has nailed the skeleton of a raven to a tree. Perhaps it was for divination, or perhaps it was done out of pure cruelty. Either way, this is unsettling.

"Nevermore!" croaks the raven, flapping its wings against a human skull. Is your home haunted by these sorrow horrors?

A black cat crosses your path. Your eyes snap to it, locked in a hypnotic state. Not fond of your presence, it hisses angrily, over and over, each new breath causing it to sound like a vicious snake, until... The echo in your head breaks you out of the trance. The cat has long scurried away now.
+1 Omen |
A cervid creature wanders through the grassland, seeming to leave a trail of death behind it. You shiver once you notice its skull is exposed.
+1 Omen |
A dark, slimy snake slithers around a lion skull. You can hear it hissing quietly, and can't help but think it must be whispering to the skull.
+1 Omen |
A dead donkey lies in your path. Ancient Egyptian tales have said that donkey's meat will make you great. Not all omens are bad, it seems!
+1 Omen |
A dead whale... you usually see things like this on the ocean's coast, not in the middle of the savanna. How did it even get here…? Maybe a sudden tornado carried it over?
+1 Omen |
A herd of dead animals has fallen here. Every single carcass looks to be covered with boils and warts. Despite your hunger, you dare not eat them.
+1 Omen |
A Horse of the Apocalypse can be seen running on the horizon among ruins, just before disappearing into a vortex. You were too far away to notice which horse it was.
+1 Omen |
A lion has fallen here, perhaps defeated in battle. You realise the birds devouring it are of a species which does not usually eat carrion.
+1 Omen |
A raven is resting on this particular tombstone. You can't help but wonder if the bird specifically chose it to send a message... Are you next?
+1 Omen |
A small body of water, perhaps a pond or waterhole, has evaporated here… fairly quickly, it seems. The fish and other critters inhabiting it are still alive!
+1 Omen |
Among the somber, devoured fields, you see a person off in the distance raising his hand and pointing at the crops. Perhaps he's a ragged farmer? He says nothing, and does not move an inch. Why is he pointing? Is he gesturing to the crops for you?
+1 Omen |
An eagle cries out in the sky, its voice hoarse from hunger. Its last shriek is weak and stops suddenly as the bird drops dead to the ground.
+1 Omen |
Black butterflies are congregating around a skull. You recognise this as a good omen of opportunity. It's time to try and do that thing you've been putting off.
+1 Omen |
Careful! A celestial stone is falling from the sky! The long, red tail catches your attention for a while, until the meteor finally hits the ground far away with a loud, deep explosion.
+1 Omen |
Dark movement on a nearby rock wall catches your eye. You approach it to take a closer look. Never before have you seen so many moths crawling together, let alone forming into the shape of a human skull.
+1 Omen |
For reasons unknown, it looks as though a bunch of rats became entangled by their tails. Locked together, they hung from a branch in the scorching sunlight until death freed them from their suffering.
+1 Omen |
From this perspective, this cliff reminds you of a corpse rising from the ground.
+1 Omen |
Hundreds of black birds have fallen dead right in this exact spot. Something odd must have caused this.
+1 Omen |
It's raining! But... the drops are a dark red colour. They're thick, too. Just like… blood? It smells acidic.
+1 Omen |
Looks like this tree has grown around a lion corpse, but the corpse itself looks quite fresh. The swampy bog must be preserving its fleshy look.
+1 Omen |
Red and shadowy auroras dance in the sky, making it appear as though the sky is bleeding.
+1 Omen |
The cry of a heron catches your attention, causing you to spin and spot the bird on your right. Its appearance is a good sign of changes to come, hopefully to improve the approaching season.
+1 Omen |
The dark silhouette of a goat ominously crowns this hill. It stands completely still and gazes upon you, observing your every step carefully.
+1 Omen |
The fur on your back stands stiff as you fully come to terms with what lies before you. This poor lion, long dead now, has been impaled with ten swords. The swords seem to be holding its rotting body tightly together, permanently showcasing its last moment of life. You can't help but think that ten is an odd number of weapons needed to kill a lion, and the sight itself... it's devastating. You can still see the agony etched onto its face, even though the life left its body a long time ago.
+1 Omen |
The remains of a horse dangle from a tree. Ravens can be seen feasting upon the corpse. The foul stench is making you gag.
+1 Omen |
The unusual sound of a howl mixed with gravely cackling stops you in your tracks. A dark fog rolls around you, holding you in place as though invisible paws are gripping you tightly. A dark shape with glowing eyes climbs up onto the hill in front of you. You have heard tales of shape-shifting hyenas - could this being before you be what they refer to as the bearer of Buda? Before you're able to take a closer look, the animal dashes away, not daring to attack a fully-grown lion.
+1 Omen |
The winds keep getting stronger and stronger until you can barely open your eyes. As you gasp for air, you spot movement beneath the clouds. A wall of tornadoes is swarming right in front of you! Is the world ending?!
+1 Omen |
These old, rotting fish have washed up on the river's shore. What happened here?
+1 Omen |

This soothsayer seems to have followed you. It's speaking about another world, one where wolves are the kings of beasts and lions are maneless outcasts from the mountains. You shudder and shake your head. You cannot believe such a thing might be real.

Today, the sun seems to be covered by a haze of clouds. The clouds have morphed the sun’s disc shape into an angel-like form.

What a disgusting sight. A sick hyena is vomiting up black, oozing tentacles.
+1 Omen |
You see a strange-looking lion with a raven riding its back. The lion almost appears to be a living corpse: its movements are stiff, awkward, and jerky. Perhaps it's been plagued to a zombie-like state due to illness.
+1 Omen |
You stop in your tracks as you feel the ground beneath you vibrate. A dark tower is crumbling into dust before your eyes. The eerie ring of a death's knell resonates over the savanna three times before everything collapses.
+1 Omen |
You stride onto the ashlands, likely a result from recent disasters. Thinking you're going to face what could only be another grassland fire, you decide to take a detour around the smoke. From afar, you notice that the source of the fire is... a gigantic giraffe. It looks so serene. If it weren't for the flames clearly licking its body, you would have no clue that it's dying.
+1 Omen |
You're walking along a familiar green valley, checking out the movements of prey, until you notice the sky starting to get very dark. You sit down to watch, thinking it might just be locusts again… but you slowly realise that it's a sandstorm of apocalyptic proportions. You've never seen one before in this area. It would be wise to find some shelter!
