Quest 13
"Welcome back. It will take at least a week before I have any results with the cubs. We're doing many different approaches in each test group. They're having fun playing with a sparkling cub-looking adult, let me tell you that!
Now then, that river. It would be great if you could check it out. I remember that it was a very long meander, eroded on the southern side, with a big beach. Oh, you sort of remember where it is? Wonderful! Perhaps you could take a closer look at the water and see if there are any stardust trails."
You have not fulfilled your task yet. The Corrupted River has not been investigated.

To complete this quest, you must find the Corrupted River in Explore.
Once the encounter is found and you click the Survey the shore button, return to the Demiurge.
It is possible for you to click past the encounter, however you can find it again while exploring.
The encounter can show up during both daytime and nighttime.
You approach a river bend that slightly matches the Demiurge's description. You walk down its eroded banks, uneager to get close to its potentially tainted water. You remember meeting giant mutated crabs here. | ||

Survey the shore | You walk along the beachy shore, through the rustling reeds and crumbling banks. The river seems to be flowing very fast. At the bend, where the water swirls the most, you notice a faint glow underwater. This isn't good… How will you retrieve this? Will it dissolve before you can figure it out? | N/A |

"Oh… How unfortunate. I guess I could try to take a dive… Not a big fan of water though, but you understand, don't you, fellow feline? That's okay. It's for a greater cause.
Hey! The cubs have found another Cancer residue while playing. It was hidden inside of a honey badger's burrow. I think I was able to retrieve it right on time! Ugh. Fine, yes, the water. We'll meet tomorrow. Let me dive while the cubs are sleeping."
(+1 residue!)
