"Don't worry! I haven't lost any rats today. I did feed the dead ones to the live ones, though. It is amusing that they are willing to eat ANYTHING. What? Don't look at me like that. The crocodile ate this antelope… thing. I need to find out what may come out of this.

Meanwhile, I would appreciate it if you could do another survey of the lands. Try looking up north from your last search, and report back to me if anything looks out of the ordinary, or if you spot a glowing yellow detritus."

To complete this quest, you must click the "Explore" paw print 300 times, essentially taking "300 steps".

Not counting towards other factors, this will generally take about five full energy bars (500% energy) to complete this, assuming you don't fight any NPCs.

You can view your progress as you explore on the Journey to Vredefort Crater page. With each "Explore" paw print click, your step count will go up.

Once you have reached 300 steps, return to the Demiurge.

"Actually… While I am gone, could you check on the territories of your neighbours, as well? Visit some dens and let me know if you find anything. Try to not be like the kings of Leo, though, and don't attack your neighbours for no reason, okay? We're here with peaceful intent!"

To complete this quest, you must visit other players' territories and den pages and click the "Spread the Word" button that displays.

Spread the Word

It does not require the player whose den page you're on to be online. You can go through all offline accounts one by one and complete this quest.

You can also use the "# member(s) online" link on the sidebar to find players that you can "Spread the Word" on, as that page displays 20 different players at one time.

You have informed the lions of this pride to avoid hunting and eating any animals that could have been tainted with stardust, especially the creatures dwelling within water.

The players must be unique, and you cannot "Spread the Word" on the same player more than one time.

It's a good idea for you to have the Journey to Vredefort Crater page up in another tab and periodically check it, as there is no visual indication about what number den you're on.

Once you have spread the word to 250 total dens, return to the Demiurge.

"Hey, [NAME], I've caught up with you! I've found some more Cancer residue. This mission is really starting to shape up, and I'm hopeful that the constellation can be restored! If it wasn't for one mad king's mistakes, the kingdom, the home for all lion souls, would not break apart… Oh, you've heard of Apedemak? Yes… He is not the first, and he won't be the last. His kingdom is located at the muzzle. A truly magnificent world, illuminated by two suns. One is dying…

Well. Anyway. The kingdom fell apart, and the corruption spread from the muzzle onto the neighbouring constellation, Cancer. This is how it all began. Hey, don't look at me like that. I'm not here to babysit all of the residents of my projects. Let's go back and store this residue in a safe spot. I shall check on the rats as well."
