Quest 28
Visit our patient and bring more of the cure with you. Tell them that we have more whenever they feel like they may need it."
You have not fulfilled your task yet. The Leaderboard dweller has not given you the residue yet.
As you walk into their cave, you announce yourself in advance with gentle roars. This time, you are not met with a scary dragon, but a slightly less-deformed natural animal instead.
"I am Ukuveza. I am in charge of keeping order and displaying the records of the famous lions within these lands. I live an introverted life, and I have to admit that the loneliness isn't bad, but… the lack of entertainment sure is.
"The shards I found sparkled and almost hypnotised me. I could stare at the lights moving within them forever. I wanted them in my cave so badly that I lost myself in it all. I never was in harmony with my body, but this… this was far worse. It's like that residue took what I hated and twisted it a hundred times over into something worse." You solemnly listen to their tale, concern etched on your face.
"Perhaps, but it's just not easy to get out. I like to organise. It's emotionless, neutral, and fair, and it helps me feel like I contribute to society. Thank you, though. The residue you're looking for is located at the bottom of this mountain in a ravine. It's a bit of a lengthy trip, but I'm sure you can make it. Oh…? What's that?"
The lion's eyes become large and focused once you show off the gem garland that the Demiurge crafted.
"An apology gift? For me? Oh, that's so precious… it will be a wonderful souvenir to remind me that I should leave these cliffs once in a while."
You nudge the antidote pouch towards them as well.
"More of the cure? Do you think I'll need to take it for the rest of my life? No? Oh, well, maybe we should pretend that I must. It will give me a reason to visit you sometimes." You exchange smiles, and you attempt to nuzzle Ukuveza again, but they shy away this time. It's okay. At least you understand why, and you won't push it.
Visit our patient and bring more of the cure with you. Tell them that we have more whenever they feel like they may need it."
Oh, no, I don't mean the gem garland. I mean the comfort of a new friend. I'm glad this is all over… well, almost!"
Quest 29
Meanwhile, I would like you to take these meat chunks marinated with the cure and spread them among hundreds of prides. It's a big journey for us both, one that will save your future cubs' environment and ensure healthy lives. Once you're finished, we will meet at twilight."
You have not fulfilled your task yet. 0/500 dens visited.
It does not require the player whose den page you're on to be online. You can go through all offline accounts one by one and complete this quest.
You can also use the "# member(s) online" link on the sidebar to find players that you can "Spread the Word" on, as that page displays 20 different players at one time.
The players must be unique, and you cannot "Spread the Word" on the same player more than one time.
This also counts the 750 players that you previously "Spread the Word" to.
It's a good idea for you to have the Journey to Vredefort Crater page up in another tab and periodically check it, as there is no visual indication about what number den you're on.
Once you have spread the word to 500 total dens, return to the Demiurge.Meanwhile, I would like you to take these meat chunks marinated with the cure and spread them among hundreds of prides. It's a big journey for us both, one that will save your future cubs' environment and ensure healthy lives. Once you're finished, we will meet at twilight."
Ah, sorry for my rambling, I get that way about my work! I love my job. To put it in simpler terms, it will be like a tiny ball of light that vacuums dust from this planet.
Alright, I'd better get to work. Take care for now!"
(+2 residue!)
