There are two primary types of currency on Lioden: Silver Beetles, being the most common type of currency across the site, and Golden Beetles, which serve the purpose of being the "premium" currency which can be purchased from the Oasis for real money or by bartering with other players. Each player starts the game with 100 SB to spend on start!

Is there a cap for Silver Beetles?
- There is only a cap which affects your SB incomes from Exploring or Battling. If you reach 5000 SB stored on your account (please note that beetles stored in bundles count as well), you will stop receiving SB from Exploring or Battling.

Is there a cap for Golden Beetles?
- No, there are no limits on how much Golden Beetles you can have!

Which items should I sell to get Golden Beetles quickly? - The most profitable assets that you may sell for GB are the event items, especially the ones dedicated to breeding, such as Buffalo Scrotum, Lion Scrotum, GMO Cow, etc. If you don't have event items, try accumulating Monkey Teeth in the Gorilla Enclave and purchase the newest available applicators for markings - these should give you lots of coin!

Is there a set GB to SB ratio? - The price of GB fluctuates depending on the current demand on GB and SB, ongoing events and challenges, to overall game's economy state. Due to this, there is no set GB to SB ratio and vice-versa.

There are many event currency types that are exclusive to their respective events, which can be spent at the monthly event shops or other event activities.

Event currency can be transferred freely between linked accounts on the Event page by scrolling to the bottom of the page. If you want to transfer event currencies into your linked account, all you need to do is to type the amount of currency next to the type of event currency that you want to transfer, then click the "Transfer to Linked Account" button.

Leather Beetles  

Leather Beetles are used as event currency during the January Event.

• Purchasing items from The Boneyard during the January Event.

Heart Shells  

Heart Shells are used as an extra currency during the February Event.

Demonic Scales  

Demonic Scales are used as an extra currency during the October Event.

How to receive Demonic Scales?
The Demonic Scales can be acquired only during October by doing the following things:

• Finding them in Explore while progressing through the Heaven's Storyline
• Purchasing them from the Manticora Shop

What can I use them for?

• Progressing through the October Storyline (Heaven alignment)
• They can be used as currency in the Heaven Shop

Scarab Beetles  

Scarab Beetles are used as an extra currency during the November Event.

How to receive Scarab Beetles?
The Scarab Beetles can be acquired only during November by doing the following things:

Additionally, they can be found while Trick-Or-Treating during October

What can I use them for?

• They can be used as currency in the Shaman Shop

Piety Points  

Piety Points are used as an extra currency during the November Event.

How to receive Piety Points?
The Piety Points can be acquired only during November by doing the following things:

• Completing Shaman Quests

What can I use them for?

• They can be used as currency for receiving the Ancestral Rewards

Stink Bugs  

Stink Bugs are used as an extra currency during the December Event.

How to receive Stink Bugs?
The Stink Bugs can be acquired only during December by doing the following things:

• Finding them in Explore
• When opening Bundles on your profile, you may receive poop - there is a slight chance that you will also receive a Stink Bug along with it

Additionally, they can be found while Trick-Or-Treating during October

What can I use them for?

• They can be used as currency in the Mantis Shop

Monkey Teeth  

Monkey Teeth are used as currency at the Gorilla Enclave's Shop

How to receive Monkey Teeth?

• Donating cubs to the Gorilla Enclave (amount of income is based on how difficult your quest is)

Additionally, they can be received once in a year from the Hell Shop or the Heaven Shop during October Event as a reward.

Referral Points  

Referral Points are used as currency at the Referrals Page

How to receive Referral Points?

• Referring friends or your side account to the game by generating an unique code at the Referrals Page and having your friends to post it within the Referral Box while signing up. When these players conduct Rollovers, you will receive some additional Referral Points.
