Ever wanted to give a nice backdrop for your lion to reside within? A cave, or perhaps a forest? A colourful scene? Or maybe just a background to match their aesthetic? Well, fear not! There are many backgrounds to choose from on Lioden.
You can obtain different backgrounds for your lions in several ways. The most common way is by purchasing them from their respective shops, though you can also win some via minigames.
This page covers previews for all available backgrounds on Lioden!
This page will be updated with new backgrounds at the end of each month.
Default Backgrounds
These backgrounds are displayed by default on every lion that does not have a background currently equipped to them. They switch simultaneously between themselves, based on the day and night cycles on Lioden.
Craftable Backgrounds
These backgrounds can be crafted via the Monkey Business's Decor Crafting page or within their respective event crafting areas.
Event-Specific
You can craft these during their respective events. See the Event-Specific Recipes section of the Crafting page for more information!
Year-Round
You can craft these by heading to the Decor Crafting area of Monkey Business!
Minigame Backgrounds
These backgrounds can be won from minigames on the site!
Cups
When you pick the correct cup, there is a small chance that you can earn one of these backgrounds released exclusively through Cups!
Lioden Trivia
When answering trivia questions correctly, there is a small chance that you can earn one of these backgrounds released exclusively through Lioden Trivia!
Reptile Roundup
For earning a score of 100 points or more, you unlock the chance to receive any one of these backgrounds released exclusively through their respective levels in Reptile Roundup!
Note that a score of 100 points or more does not mean you will absolutely receive a background prize.
Serengeti Shuffle
For earning a score of 4444 points or more, you unlock the chance to receive any one of these backgrounds released exclusively through Serengeti Shuffle!
Note that a score of 4444 or more does not mean you will absolutely receive a background prize.
Whack a Snake
For earning a score of 1000 points or more, you can receive any one of these backgrounds released exclusively through Whack a Snake!

These backgrounds are originally obtained by either winning the weekly raffle lioness or purchasing the background from a player that managed to win her! Older, retired raffle backgrounds can be purchased via the Gorilla Enclave shop.

The Flood Pit appears at the top of the Crossroads page during wet seasons on Lioden. It contains some unique backgrounds that can only be purchased while it's wet and rainy!
Gorilla Enclave
The Gorilla Enclave can be accessed through the Crossroads page. It contains backgrounds that are unique to themed sets, as well as retired raffle backgrounds!
Monkey Business
This pesky mandrill's shop can be accessed through the Crossroads page. He has a variety of intricate backgrounds to equip to your lions.

Oasis
You can access the Oasis at any time through the navigation bar on every page. The Oasis contains special backgrounds that change during day and night cycles, as well as through the seasons.
