April Event (Rabbit Hunt)

It's April and rabbits and hares are breeding like crazy! Looks like we have a fluffy plague on our hands, and we heard that they like to carve weird things in Carved Easter Eggs with their ever-growing teeth.

With this April Event, you mighty lions need to catch as many Fluffballs as possible, and collect those Carved Easter Eggs. There are two areas to unlock - one calls for your Bunny Catching skills, and other calls for your egg-finding skills.

Event Information

This event is highly focused on exploring.
The explore encounters exclusive to this month can be found in all biomes.
Your lion's karma and level, as well as the biome you explore in, do not matter for this event.

In April, the community is working to unlock three tiers of two bars.
The more bunnies and rabbits are slain in Explore, the faster the Bunny Shop will unlock. Slaying bunnies (also known as "fluffballs") will earn you Fluffball Points, which are automatically counted towards the Bunny Shop's unlock bar.
The more Easter Eggs are collected, the faster the Egg Den will unlock.

This month's currencies are Easter Eggs and Hare Points.
Easter Eggs are predominately gained in Explore, while Hare Points are gained from completing storyline quests. You can also earn Easter Eggs from completing storyline quests and exchange Hare Points for Easter Eggs in Wenet's Shop.

The April event launches on April 1st at 12am Lioden time and will end on April 30th at 11:59pm Lioden time. All unused event currency will be stored on your account until the next year.

This female ostrich has spotted you from afar. She seems to be agitated!

While strolling through your territory, your attention is suddenly caught by loud, deep, growl-like purrs and mrows nearby. A lioness is rolling among fluffy, yellow chicks, letting them playfully climb on her. She doesn't seem interested in eating them, but you're interested in why she's here at all!

Play together	As you approach, she seems very nervous and tries to get up without disturbing the chicks. You softly stop her, asking if you can join and meet her fluffy friends. She seems eager to introduce you to the chirping chicks, but only if you won't harm them. Wow! Just as you were about to chase down an intruding jackal, the canine dove into a brambly bush and attacked a goat right in front of you!

Climb	Spreading your claws, you try to climb the posts. You're a massive creature and the posts are very smooth, but you manage to reach and swipe at a bundle. Headbutt	Choosing brute force, you headbutt one of the posts! You manage to dislodge one of the eggs from the rope holding it, causing it to fall onto the soft sand below. You find a female ostrich guarding a nearby nest.

Distract	You make an awkward, quiet, high-pitched noise, which piques the ostrich's curiosity. While she's investigating the sound in nearby bushes, you sneak over to the nest and manage to steal some of the eggs! Sadly, none of them are carved. You gasp audibly, shocked to see a hyena wearing a mask. What is this?! You open your mouth to demand answers, but before you can get a single sound out, the hyena excitedly jumps at the sight of you! He takes off his mask, revealing his goofy, chonky face.

Laharu?!	The hyena jumps around you excitedly, asking how you've been and if you have any spare food. When you mention you don't have any at the moment, he shares an egg with you, suggesting you look malnourished. He reassures you that he can spare the egg - after all, he's been feeding on some fine rabbit meat and enjoying life. He mentions he's on a quest from Hyenet, who asked him to find the Mother of United Rabbit Clans. She sounds tasty.	+1 Easter Egg +1% Impression
Who are you?	The hyena seems offended that you've never heard of the famous Laharu, a striped hyena who took down the Hyena Mother of the United Clans. After stomping his clubby paws for a short while, he gets over his ego and huffs that maybe not all lions pay attention to hyena faces or politics. He gives you an egg for your time and mentions something about needing to find the mother of United Rabbit Clans.	+1 Easter Egg -100 IMPRESSION FOR YOUR IGNORANCE!! Just kidding.. but really

You hear a loud commotion, and a massive dust cloud rolls towards you, causing you to stop in your tracks. A small yet fiercely barking dog is chasing after a fidgety hyena, and you notice the hyena has a dangling, limp chicken in its mouth.

Help the dog!	You decide to help the dog. Screw those smelly hyenas, right? You dive right into its path, making the carnivore trip and fall. The hound backs off nervously as the hyena scampers away. You nod and nudge the chicken towards its guardian. After an inspection, it turns out the bird is dead and of no use to the dog anymore. Help the dog!	The mere roar from your throat is enough to make the hyena scowl and drop everything immediately. As it runs away, the dog hurries towards the chicken to inspect it. Help the hyena!	You growl at the hound. They serve humans, and humans are dangerous, even more so than hyenas! The small creature yips at you for a bit, but a few warning roars make it run away. The hyena drops you a gift, surprised at your assistance, but grateful.	+1 Easter Egg +1 Wattle

You notice a very confused Ostrich staring at its nest for a while, after which it wanders off. Curious, you look inside and find a pretty engraved egg!

You snort quietly, surprised at what you see. A fluffball... wearing a lion mask. Much like when you're wearing a hare mask, but... well, in reverse.

You spot a few fluffballs climbing a crumbling tunnel carved into an eroding escarpment.

You spot a lonely Sahelian goat. It seems completely lost. You can't even smell its herd or any human settlement where it might have come from.

The two of you wander together for a bit until you come across a beautiful, overgrown garden. You rest there for a bit. You stumble upon an interesting scene: two fluffballs seem to be confused by a butterfly, which landed on the face of one of the buns. The poor bun stiffens up in fear as the butterfly's wings cover its frontal view. The other fluffball is perplexed, helplessly trying to understand what exactly is on their companion's face. You can understand their confusion, as the big red dots do look like eyes.

Tier Three of the Bunny Shop unlocks the Bunny Tunnels feature. This feature is available at the very top of the Bunny Shop when it is unlocked.

The Bunny Tunnels allow you to send off your adolescent females (ages 1 year to 1 year, 11 months) in order for them to gain a small amount of experience and stats, once per day per adolescent! You can only send out one adolescent at a time, and each expedition lasts for 60 minutes.

When your adolescents return, they will gain Experience equal to their (LVL x 20 to 30) and 2 to 5 stats randomly dispersed in each category (barring Skill).

Spring Forward will age your pride leader up by 2 years, whereas Fall Behind will de-age your pride leader by 2 years.

If you choose to Spring Forward, you will receive the following text, and your pride leader will immediately be 2 years older!

If you choose to Fall Behind, you will receive the following text, and your pride leader will immediately be 2 years younger!

Important Notes

To reiterate from the above, you can only use this feature once per pride leader per account. You cannot use the Primordial Spring with the same exact leader through multiple April events. If you do not have the option to use the Primordial Spring, this means you already drank from it during a previous April event with that same leader.
The youngest your pride leader can be is 2 years of age exactly. You cannot use the Fall Behind option to make your leader any younger than 2.
This feature can only be used on pride leaders. You cannot age up or de-age any pride members using the Primordial Spring.
You are able to use the Primordial Spring multiple times if you retire your leader multiple times during April. For example, you can age up your leader, retire them for free, then de-age your new leader during the same April event. This is because they are functionally a new lion, even if you happen to keep your leader's appearance during retirement or otherwise.
